理 念
私たちの理念は、日比の交流を深めて海洋アジアの平和と繁栄を実現することにあります。
日比両国民は、太古から深い関係を持ってきました。私たちは、言語や文化はもちろんのこと、商業や人的交流を通じて、お互いに大きな影響を受けてきました。
19世紀には、わが国では明治維新、フィリピンではフィリピン共和国の独立という出来事があり、現在に至っています。そうした中で、国家間の関係によって、交流が途絶えたり、戦渦に巻き込まれたりという不幸な時代も経験しました。
フィリピンは、他のアジア諸国と同様に、いわゆるプランテーション経済によって、何百年もの間、国富が海外に流失した結果、豊かな資源に恵まれながら、経済的な発展を阻まれてきました。
しかし、私たちの長い関係からすれば、この数百年は、ほんの一瞬に過ぎません。私たちがお互いを深く理解して助け合うことによって、きっと素晴らしい未来が訪れるものと信じています。
PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is to promote and strengthen the friendship, goodwill and cooperation between Japan and the Philippines to achieve sustainable peace and mutual prosperity for maritime Asia.
The people of Japan and the Philippines were already closely connected since time immemorial. And thus, undeniably, we have been influencing each other significantly, not only in language and culture, but also through commercial exchange. We both had the biggest events which were the Meiji Restoration in Japan and the independence of the Republic of the Philippines in the 19th century. In the midst of these, we have experienced that our relationship had been resulted in the breakdown of exchanges.
Despite its rich natural resources, the Philippines, like other Asian countries has been hampered in its economic development as a result of centuries of wealth being lost abroad due, because of the so-called Plantation economy. However, in the context of our long relationship, these hundreds of years in destitutions become a mere blink of an eye.
We believe in that understanding and helping each other deeply, we can rapidly achieve a greater future together.

当法人は、日比友好親善の推進および相互理解の深化を目的とし、その目的に資するため次に掲げる各事業を行います。
