　APPRECIATION

On behalf of the Philippine EXPO 2024 Operating Committee, I would like to say that we are very pleased to be able to offer our event to you.

First and foremost, we would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all of you who came and supported the affair with endearing enthusiasm. Then special thanks to the sponsors and exhibitors. We are so indebted for your support of our organization’s

endeavor. And to all the performers and contestants, we couldn’t have had such a fantastic time without you.

Your generosity has made a tremendous impact on our cause, and we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your dedication.

It was the first time there were fine days during the event, for seven years.

H. E. Ambassador Jose C. Laurel congratulated at the ceremony of the Philippine EXPO 2019 in the rain, saying, “Rain brings a great harvest”. This year was truly the harvest.

As quasi-allies, Japan and the Philippines are walking toward a beautiful future based on common values which is to protect Freedom and Rule of Law. We are grateful that the Philippine EXPO 2024 Ueno Park, Tokyo was held under such blue skies, as it was the symbol of our heart-to-heart relationship.

About eighty thousand people enjoyed the gastronomic experience and vibrant event. From the happy faces and cheerfulness of the lively crowd, we saw that the Philippine EXPO 2024 Ueno Park, Tokyo was indeed a blast.

Once again, thank you very much to everyone for taking the time to participate in the event. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to staying in touch with you.

　フィリピンエキスポ 2024 運営委員会を代表して、一言、御礼を申し上げます。

　まず初めに、このイベントにご来場いただいた皆様、そして、スポンサーおよび出展者の皆様に心から感謝申し上げます。また、私たちの取り組みに対する出場者の皆様のご協力に厚く御礼申し上げます。

　今年は、フィリピンエキスポが開催されてきた 7 年間で、初めてイベント期間中の晴天に恵まれました。

　雨の中行われた「フィリピンエキスポ 2019 in 東京」の式典にご臨席いただいたホセ・C・ラウレル大使閣下は、「雨は大きな収穫をもたらす」とご祝辞で述べられましたが、今年はまさにその収穫の年でした。

　準同盟国として、日本とフィリピンは、自由と法の支配を守るという共通の価値観に基づいて、美しい未来に向かって歩んでいます。両国民の心と心のつながりの象徴ともいえる青空の下で「フィリピンエキスポ 2024 in 東京」が開催されたことに感激しています。

　3 日間の開催中、延べ約 8 万人の来場者が美食体験と活気あるイベントを楽しみました。皆様の多幸感に満ちた笑顔で、私たちは本イベントの成功を実感することができました。

　改めて、イベントに参加するために時間を割いてくださった皆様に心より厚く御礼申し上げます。
